- Introducing the 2023 Toyota Crown: Features, Performance, and Innovations Revealed
As the world of automobiles evolves at a rapid pace, Toyota continues to stand at the forefront of this evolution.
With the Toyota Crown 2023, the brand showcases a perfect blend of luxury, technology, and performance, positioning itself as a leader in the luxury sedan segment. Here’s a deep dive into what makes this year’s Toyota Crown a game-changer.
Fuel Efficiency of the 2023 Toyota Crown
When evaluating the fuel efficiency of the New Toyota Crown, the numbers truly speak for themselves. According to EPA estimates, the base hybrid version of the 2023 Toyota Crown is impressively efficient, delivering up to 42 mpg in city conditions and 41 mpg on the highway.
Contrast this with the Platinum edition, which, equipped with the potent Hybrid Max powertrain, is estimated to offer around 29 mpg for city drives and 32 mpg on highways. Authenticating these figures, our tests revealed that on a 75-mph highway drive, the Toyota Crown 2023 Limited model achieved a commendable 42 mpg, while the high-end Platinum variant met EPA expectations at 32 mpg.
2023 Toyota Crown: Infotainment and Connectivity Features
The 2023 Toyota Crown boasts a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen as a standard feature throughout its lineup, powered by Toyota’s newest and vastly enhanced software interface. Seamless integration with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is facilitated via a wireless connection, ensuring that users stay connected on the move. Further enhancing the driver’s experience is a second 12.3-inch display, showcasing digital gauges right in the driver’s line of sight.
The New Toyota Crown doesn’t shy away from modern conveniences, offering a wireless smartphone charging pad, onboard Wi-Fi, and contemporary USB-C ports. On the audio front, while the base XLE trim is equipped with a competent six-speaker stereo system, the higher-end Limited and Platinum variants are upgraded with an 11-speaker JBL stereo.
However, during our initial test drive of the 2023 Toyota Crown, the JBL sound system left some room for improvement, not quite matching the auditory richness of its predecessor in the Avalon.
Safety Features and Commitment to Excellence
This commitment is consistent across Toyota’s fleet. The New Crown, a shining exemplar, comes equipped with an impressive array of standard driver-assistance features.
Every model is designed to ensure peace of mind on the road, boasting automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlamps, and much more.
